A Cute Surprise

Yesterday morning Mom discovered two big bags on our doorstep in the carport. In these bags were potatoes and green beans. I'm not talking little bags, I 'm talking big bags. They were filled to the top.
Now the green beans were whole beans. Whole beans need to be snapped. It's a pretty easy process, but you can follow the instructions below:

  1.  Wash Them (duh!)
With garden grown vegetables you need to make sure you clean them thoroughly. We had a previous experience where there were bugs crawling all over a bag of veggies we received. (It makes me itch all over. I seriously scratched my head!)

    2. Snap 'em
This is the good old fashioned part. All you do is snap off both ends. Then you just break them in half. After that cook them and enjoy. Simple as that. (Green beans are my absolute favorite veggie ever!)

  1. Don't expect your Grandpa to eat any green beans. He hates them! I will eat his portion. That was nice of someone. Good thing Keri had helpers. Enjoy!
