"Fixer Upper"
On my previous blog, I made brief note about the show "Fixer Upper". If you already know about this show then this post means nothing to you!
"Fixer Upper" is a home renovation show on HGTV. It is run by a Christian couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines. Together they make "house dreams" come true! At the beginning of the show they take their clients to 3 houses. Along the way Chip and "Jo-Jo" explain the renovations they can do in their client's budget. After the properties have been shown, the clients chose their "dream home"! Next comes Chip's favorite part, "Demo Day"! That is where all the action happens. A little later in the process, Joanna invites the couple to her home, (a gorgeous farmhouse!) where she shows them the renovation plan on her laptop. The couple "oohs" and "aahs" for a while over Jo-Jo's creativity (Which is true, Jo-Jo has some creativity!) Towards the end of the renovations is when Joanna gets into the decorating. This is where she really shines! (With a little distressed wood thrown in. If you know Jo-Jo!) Finally, the light at the end of the tunnel! The reveal has arrived. (This is my favorite part.) The couple opens their eyes to see beautiful transformation before them! (It blows me away every time!)
